Thank you 2025!

All weekend I have been trying to write this post; buckle in it’s a doozy.

There is something to be said about a group of individuals who come together each year to provide the most amazing weekend for our community. This year has been a year like no other; 40 years of families and community coming together like only a small town can.

Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors as none of this possible without you. Thank you all our vendors, entertainers, performers, tournament teams, volunteers, bartenders, and car show attendees; this truly takes a village.

This year hits different for us as a family; she won’t admit it, but Nicki is a huge piece of our heart. After 20 years, Nik is hanging up her CKD hat and her contribution and dedication to our community is unmeasurable. All the laughs and tears and jokes are too many to remember. Thank you Nicki for keeping us together, for making us laugh, for being the voice of reason, for the reality checks, for the late night bathroom selfies and for being the incredible person you are.

Thank you Corunna; our committee worries about every decision we make and this weekend you have reassured us that we got it right for you.

There will many more thank yous in the days to come but for now CKD out
